Philip-Neri Reese, O.P.

Professor of Philosophy, Pontifical University of St. Thomas (Angelicum)

Fr. Philip-Neri Reese is a Dominican friar of the Province of St. Joseph and a Professor of Philosophy at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas (Angelicum) in Rome. He leads the Angelicum Thomistic Institute’s Project on Philosophy and the Thomistic Tradition. He holds a Licentiate in Philosophy from the Catholic University of America (2015) and a Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Notre Dame (2022). His research focuses on metaphysics, particularly the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas, and he has published widely in areas such as philosophical anthropology, ethics, and economics. He is also an enthusiast of classical Indian philosophy and is a member of several philosophical associations.
